Aishwarya Bachchan recently threw her daughter Aaradhya an elaborate party to mark her 13th birthday. Last month, Aishwarya posted a series of photos on Instagram that showed the celebration, but netizens were quick to notice the absence of an important figure – Aaradhya's father, Abhishek Bachchan.

“No abhishek in the scene...wow,” one user wrote, while another commented, “Abhishek is unfortunate if he is missing these moments.. Aishwarya Rai is a strong mother..I really appreciate her for her calmness”.

Now, a video has come out proving Abhishek's presence at the function. On the official account of event organisers, Play Time India – Jatin Bhimani, who worked on Aaradhya's birthday party, Abhishek can be seen thanking the organiser for the beautiful event.

“Jatin, thank you as always. Thirteen years you have been doing Aaradhya's birthday. You have become family and it's wonderful that we get to share such a special day with all of you, and you for making it special for us, and especially for Aaradhya every time. Thank you, I appreciate it,” the actor said.

Many in the comments were relieved to see that Abhishek had not missed his daughter's birthday, with one user commenting, “Thanks for posting this video to shut people's mouths who were continuously saying bad about abhishek and bachchan family,” while another wrote,” happy to see them together celebrating”.

Rumours of Abhishek and Aishwarya's separation sparked when they arrived separately for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in July. Though neither of them have commented on this, both have tried to put the rumours at rest. Aishwarya flaunted her wedding ring at theL’Oréal Fashion show at Paris Fashion Weekin September, which made people think otherwise.

Last week, at an event in Dubai, Aishwarya’s name appeared without Bachchan's surname, adding to the rumour mill.
