Director Srikanth Odela, who made a strong mark in Telugu cinema with his debut feature Dasara, will be directing megastar Chiranjeevi in an as-yet-untitled project. Actor Nani, who worked with Odela in Dasara, announced the project on his official X handle on Tuesday.
Nani, who sees Chiranjeevi as an inspirational figure, announced it on X.
Sharing the project's poster which comes with the tagline, 'He finds his peace in violence', the 'Natural Star' captioned it: "Unleashing the megastar madness we have been waiting for.”

Judging by the caption, one assumes the upcoming film—a joint production of Unanimous Productions and SLV Cinemas—will be another thriller with ample action moments to satisfy Chiranjeevi fans.
Meanwhile, Srikanth Odela is working on his second film, titled The Paradise, reportedly an action drama set in Hyderabad, also headlined by Nani.
Dasara—starring Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, and Samuthirakani—made waves at the domestic and international box office. Amassing a total worldwide collection of over Rs 100 crore—by far the highest-grosser in Nani's filmography—Odela has become a filmmaker to watch out for among the newer crop.
Before making his directorial debut, Odela honed his skills as an assistant director under Pushpa-helmer Sukumar in the films Rangasthalam (2018) and Nannaku Prematho (2016).
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi, last seen in Bhola Shankar, has the action-fantasy Vishwambhara coming up next. Helmed by Mallidi Vassishta, the big-budget feature also stars Trisha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ashika Ranganath, among others. The makers are aiming for a 2025 release.
Aside from Vishwambhara, Chiranjeevi is said to be part of an upcoming Anil Ravipudi project.
On the other hand, Nani is also looking forward to HIT: The Third Case, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, expected to hit screens in 2025. The cop thriller is the third instalment in the HIT series of films, the previous entries of which starred Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh.
