Speaking with Gallata India, Isha said, “I feel Priyanka’s role was more powerful than mine. I would have given my left and right arm for it. I am a black belt in Taekwondo. I have been learning Taekwondo for 25 years now so I know I am fantastic at action and I can give any heroine a run for their money as far as action is concerned, even if they are half my age. I know I am good at it but what’s done is done”

The actress said she was hurt the makers did not call her back, but has left it in the past. “I did reach out. I was told they have already cast for it. It’s okay. You win some, you lose some.”

Action-thriller Don was released in 2006, with the sequel Don 2, releasing in 2011. The film starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Boman Irani, Pavan Malhotra, and Om Puri.

Don 3: The Final Chapter was announced in 2023, where actor Ranveer Singh was presented as the new Don. Kiara Advani will also appear in the third instalment. The production was set to begin early 2025, but rumours suggest that the filming has been postponed.
