Ever since Priyanka Chopra announced that she would make her Hollywood debut with the thriller-drama series Quantico, questions arose as to how the actress would balance both Hollywood and Bollywood. When Quantico premiered in 2015, it coincided with the release of Bajirao Mastani, where Priyanka was lauded for her performance, proving that she could juggle both industries.
As the actress made her transition to the West, taking up more English-language projects and making her big-screen Hollywood debut with Baywatch, her appearances in Bollywood films became staggeringly lower, leading many to question whether the Krrish actress would ever make a return to Indian cinema. Her last Bollywood outing was was Hindi-English film The White Tiger, back in 2021.

So, is a Bollywood comeback in the works for Priyanka Chopra? According to her, it is a possibility.
During a conversation at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, Chopra said she has a Bollywood project lined up for next year, but she is yet to make a final decision on whether or not she will take it up.

“I take my roots wherever I go. It's a part of my family, it's a part of my upbringing. India has always been in my heart. Indian films will always be a part of my heart. I am very close to deciding on doing one next year, so keep your fingers crossed. Send good vibes that it works out and that I actually end up doing one next year. I really miss the dancing more than anything,” she said.
Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas from the band The Jonas Brothers in 2018. The couple share a two-year-old daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
