Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is reportedly set to marry her long-time boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya in an intimate ceremony this February, according to sources. The couple is said to have chosen the ITC Chola in Chennai as the venue for one of the wedding festivities and the venue has been booked for the same.
Janhvi and Shikhar have been dating for a few years with Shikhar becoming a familiar face at the Kapoor family gatherings. Despite the couple never officially confirming their relationship, Shikhar is often seen accompanying Janhvi on her Tirupati temple visits every year on Sridevi’s birthday.
Adding to the buzz, the Janhvi has been spotted flaunting her love for Shikhar in subtle yet affectionate ways. Earlier this year, she was seen wearing a necklace engraved with his name, at the premiere of Boney Kapoor’s Maidan. More recently, she made headlines after donning a T-shirt featuring Shikhar's name and photographs. The duo also made an appearance at the trailer screening of Varun Dhawan- Keerthi Suresh starrer Baby John, in Mumbai.
While the Kapoor family has remained tight-lipped about the wedding, fans of the duo are excited about the sightings and the playful display of affection.
Janhvi Kapoor’s last theatrical release was 'Devara: Part 1' and she is set to share the screen with Varun Dhawan in Shashank Khaitan’s next, titled 'Sunny Sankari Ki Tulsi Kumari'. The actor has also been filming RC16 with Ram Charan. Pahariya is also the scion of a wealthy family and is the son of acclaimed business tycoon Sanjay Pahariya.
If reports are true, the nuptials are set to be one of the most anticipated celebrity weddings of 2024.
