Actor Allu Arjun has given another statement following his release from jail on Saturday morning. The Pushpa actor had briefly addressed the press immediately after his release before reuniting with his family at his Jubilee Hills residence.
According to a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) by news agency ANI, the actor said, “I would like to first thank everybody for their immense love and support. I thank my fans. I am well, there is nothing to worry. I am a law-abiding citizen, I respect the law, I will cooperate with them, and do the needful. I would like to give my condolences to the family, it is very unfortunate, we went to watch a movie, and due to an unfortunate incident, we lost a person. It was totally out of my personal control. I have been going to watch my films for the last 20 years, I have been there for 30 times. I will be there to support the family in whatever possible way. I know we can never cover the loss, but I will be doing what I can. I thank everyone for the support.”

Why was Allu Arjun arrested?
On Friday, Telugu actor Allu Arjun was arrested from his home after a fan died in a stampede during an early screening of his new film Pushpa 2: The Rule. The actor was booked under sections 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) (voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Though the actor was granted bail on Friday night, he was only released from Chikkadpally police station on Saturday morning due to a delayed bail order. Speaking to the media outside the station, Arjun reassured his fans, “I thank everyone for the love and support. I want to thank all my fans. There is nothing to worry about. I am fine.”
