Fans of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar woke up Sunday morning to an exciting update from director Adhik Ravichandran. He shared a post on his social media handles announcing the conclusion of their collaboration, Good Bad Ugly, alongside a picture of Ajith in a younger and dashing look from the set.
Adhik posted the picture with the caption, "Thank you, Ajith sir for giving me this lifetime opportunity. Dream fulfilled. Love you so much, sir. Last day shoot for sir. What a beautiful journey!"
Adhik made his directorial debut with Trisha Illana Nayanthara, following up with Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan and Bagheera. He tasted blockbuster success with Mark Antony last year. The sci-fi action comedy starred Vishal and SJ Suryaah.
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Good Bad Ugly is Ajith's 63rd film as lead actor, and also features Trisha Krishnan, Prabhu, Prasanna, Arjun Das, Sunil, Rahul Dev, and Yogi Babu.
The team started principal photography in May 2024 in Hyderabad and had shot a few portions in Spain as well. G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the music, with Abinandhan Ramanujam as director of photography and Vijay Velukutty handling editing duties.
As of now, the team has slated a Pongal release for Good Bad Ugly on 10 January 2025.
Good Bad Ugly marks Mythri Movies Makers' first Tamil film. Recently, they produced an independent Malayalam movie Adrishya Jalakanghal—starring Tovino Thomas and Nimisha Sajayan—followed by another Tovino-starrer Nadikar.
