Telugu film Robinhood has been postponed yet again. The film had initially planned for a release on December 20, after which it was delayed by five days for a Christmas release.
Now, production company Mythri Movie Makers, bankrolling the project, has announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the release of the film will be delayed to 2025. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, #Robinhood will not be releasing on December 25th,” they wrote, further adding that a new date will be announced soon.

Promising that the film will be an “adventurous thriller” and an “unforgettable experience”, fans will now have to wait an indefinite amount of time to view this action-comedy.

Though the reason for the rescheduling of the film was not given, many suspect that Pushpa 2: The Rule’s reign at the box office may have been a deciding factor. “Oh. Good that it's postponed. Because #pushpa2 will rock the box office till January 9th,” one user wrote, while another posted, “This is great decision to avoid #Pushpa2TheRule storm and to release movie in next best available slot. [sic]”
