Ram Charan fans have been eagerly waiting for a trailer of Game Changer since the teaser dropped a month ago. Producer Dil Raju has now confirmed that the full trailer will be launched on New Year's Day. The footage is expected to be under three minutes.

At a pre-release event in Dallas, USA, he said, "The trailer of a movie decides its range these days. We thought of working on it for a while before bringing it out in front of everyone. You'll get to see it on New Year's Day."

A political action thriller expected to be along the same lines as Shankar's earlier films, Game Changer has a story penned by Karthik Subbaraj. As per the buzz, Ram Charan might be taking more than one character in the film. Kiara Advani plays the female lead.

Ram Charan essays an IAS officer battling a corrupt system in the hope of changing it. As in any of Shankar's previous efforts, Game Changer is expected to be heavy on action spectacle and colourful musical numbers.

The movie also features a large ensemble featuring SJ Suryah (reuniting with Shankar after Indian 2), Jayaram, Anjali, Samuthirakani, and Srikanth, among others.

Shot by Tirru and Rathnavelu, Game Changer has Shameer Muhammed and Ruben as editors.

As for his upcoming projects, Ram Charan is headlining a rural sports drama, tentatively titled RC16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who made his directorial debut with Uppena. Janhvi Kapoor stars as the female lead, with Shiva Rajkumar in a supporting role.
