In connection with the theatre stampede case during the screening of 'Pushpa-2', a court on Friday granted regular bail to Telugu actor Allu Arjun.
The Additional Metropolitan Session Judge had reserved the order earlier today after hearing arguments from both the actor and the police.
The court directed the actor to furnish two sureties, who shall execute a bond for Rs 50,000 each, besides his own with the same amount.
While granting the bail, the court directed the 'Pushpa' actor to appear before the investigating officer every Sunday between 10 am and 1 pm for a period of two months or till the filing of the charge sheet.
"Petitioner shall not hamper the investigation in any manner nor shall directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any witness so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the court or to any police officer," the court said.
The court further said that the petitioner shall not make any attempt to interfere with the ongoing investigation or with the witnesses, in any manner.
The bail conditions also said that the actor shall not change his residential address without prior intimation to the court, till disposal of the case. He was also directed not to leave the country without prior permission from the court.
