Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai spotted together at Mumbai airport amid separation rumours

 Speculation about a potential divorce have been put to rest as celebrity couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, along with their 13-year-old daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan, were spotted together in the Mumbai airport, returning from a family holiday.

The actor and film producer, dressed in a comfy grey hoodie, was seen leading the family out of the airport. He held the car door open for his wife and daughter, till they comfortably settled into their seats. Aaradhya, wearing a blue sweatshirt, smiled as she walked next to her mother. “Happy New Year, everyone. God bless," Aishwarya wished, as she entered the vehicle.

Rumours of Abhishek and Aishwarya's separation sparked when they arrived separately for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's opulent wedding in July. Ever since, the media has been keeping a close eye on the couple, analysing different occasions – such as Aishwarya not using her surname ‘Bachchan’ at an event in Dubai – and making inferences about tension between the duo.

The couple was also sighted together at Aaradhya’s annual day school performance in December 2024.

Abhishek and Aishwarya, who tied the knot in 2007, had their first child, Aaradhya on November 16, 2011. In recent times, their married life has been a major area of scrutiny among fans and the media. Despite ongoing rumours, the couple has remained silent on the same, fueling further speculation about them parting ways.

Recently, Abhishek starred in the Hindi film I Want to Talk directed by Shoojit Sircar. Based on the true story of a cancer survivor, the movie chronicles Arjun’s (Bachchan) complicated journey being a single parent to his daughter (played by Ahilya Bamroo).

The actor will next be seen in upcoming projects like ‘Housefull 5’ and ‘King’.
