Black Warrant

Release date: January 10

Streaming platform: Netflix

Based on a book by Sunetra Choudhury and Sunil Gupta, the story unfolds in India’s largest prison, Tihar jail. Filled with the most ruthless criminals, Sunil Gupta, the Assistant Superintendent of the Prison, must team up with two jailers, Dahiya and Mangat, to regain control of the prison from the overpowering inmates. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the show stars Zahan Kapoor, Paramvir Singh Cheema, Rahul Bhat, Anurag Thakur, and Sidhant Gupta.



The Sabarmati Report

Release date: January 11

Streaming platform: Zee5

The Sabarmati Report chronicles a journalist's journey to uncover the truth behind the Godhra train burning incident of February 27, 2002, involving the Sabarmati Express. A total of 59 casualties were reported, all of whom were Hindu pilgrims returning from Ayodhya. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna, the film stars Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna.



Shark Tank: Season 4

Goosebumps: The Vanishing

Based on Goosebumps, the children’s horror novels by R. L. Stine, a recently divorced Anthony is eager to get to the bottom of his brother’s disappearance who went missing in 1994. While his kids believe that their uncle was taken by ghosts, they explore out of curiosity and unintentionally trigger an event that starts the disappearance all over again. Developed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller, the series stars David Schwimmer, Ana Ortiz, Sam McCarthy, Jayden Bartels, and Elijah M. Cooper.

Game Changer

Release date: January 10

Short-tempered IAS officer Ram Nandan takes on the onus to fight against the corrupt political system. With an aim to bring his father’s vision to life, he must do what it takes to get Andhra Pradesh back to an uncorrupted state. Directed by S. Shankar, the film stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, S.J. Suryah, Sunil, and Jayaram.



Fateh

Release date: January 10

Fateh is a former special ops officer, who carried out covert assignments for his superiors without questions. Retreating to the quiet life in Punjab, he finds himself pulled back into the world of targets and violence when a girl goes missing in his village. Directed and written by Sonu Sood in his directorial debut, the film stars Sood, alongside Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.



Daaku Maharaaj

Release date: January 12

Nandamuri Balakrishna, aka NBK, stars as a skilled robber dubbed “Daaku Maharaaj”. With supernatural elements in the film, he must fight against external forces with demons in order to survive. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Urvashi Rautela.



Rekhachithram

Release date: January 10

Tasked with solving the decades-old disappearance of a nun, CI Vivek Gopinath aims to find out the reasons behind it while uncovering the truth behind the recent unexplained murders. His quest for truth finds him unearthing corruption. Directed by Jofin T. Chacko, the film stars Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan, Manoj K. Jayan, Harisree Ashokan, and Indrans.



Nosferatu

Release date: January 10

A remake of F. W. Murnau's 1922 silent film of the same name, Nosferatu chronicles the life of a young Ellen, plagued by a mysterious evil creature. When her husband, a real estate agent, must sell a house to Count Orlok, Ellen realises that the count is Nosferatu and he becomes terrifyingly obsessed with her. Directed by Robert Eggers, the film stars an ensemble cast of Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, and Willem Dafoe.



Den of Thieves 2: Pantera

Release date: January 10

Sheriff Big Nick goes gangster in this Den of Thieves sequel. Tasked with tracking down recent prison release Donnie Wilson, he, in a twist of events, helps the criminal execute the world’s largest diamond heist. Directed by Christian Gudegast, the film stars Gerard Butler, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Evin Ahmad, Salvatore Esposito, and Meadow Williams.
