It has been over a month after what was supposed to be a happy evening of a family turned into a dark and heartbreaking event. On December 4, Bhaskar and Revathi, their son Sri Tej and young daughter, were waiting outside Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre for the pre-release of Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated Pushpa 2: The Rule, but the event quickly turned into a stampede triggered by Arjun’s surprise arrival, claiming the life of Revathi, 39, and critically injuring her son.

Now, on the morning of January 7, Arjun visited the KIMS Hospital where Sri Tej is still admitted. The actor visited, accompanied by his team, to provide support to the family during their difficult time. Telangana State Film Development Corporation (FDC) Chairman Dil Raju was also present.

The SHO of Ramgopalpet Police Station has issued a notice to the actor to keep the news of his visit confidential so as to not draw any unnecessary crowds that cause disruption to the hospital.
Arjun had intentions to visit Sri Tej earlier but his team advised otherwise due to ongoing legal proceedings. However, Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind had the family at the hospital two weeks after the incident.
Sri Tej medical situation
A video had emerged on X (formerly Twitter) right after the stampede showing CPR being performed on an unconscious Sri Tej. He was quickly transferred to the hospital where his condition was critical.

Allu Arjun’s arrest
On December 13, Arjun was arrested and named as the 11th accused in the stampede case. He was released the next day on interim bail and asked to appear in court for his bail hearing on a later date. On January 3, the actor was granted regular bail.
