It was earlier confirmed that Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana would provide German composer Hans Zimmer his first venture in Bollywood, but the truth is actor Sonu Sood has beat Tiwari in the race and enlisted Zimmer for his directorial debut Fateh.
Releasing on January 10, Fateh will feature a background score by the composer and though he did not work directly on the film as he is with Ramayana, a pre-recorded score titled To The Moon will feature in Sood’s film.

“Everyone is a Hans Zimmer fan, and I am no exception. I’m a huge admirer of his work. He is an Oscar winner and has composed music for some of the greatest Hollywood films. I feel fortunate that we have his song, To The Moon, in Fateh. This marks the first time one of his songs will be featured in an Indian film,” the actor told in an interview with Mid-Day.
Zimmer is a musical maestro known for his work in creating goosebump-inducing soundtracks for films like The Lion King, The Prince of Egypt, Gladiator, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk and Dune: Part 1 & 2 just to name a few.
To The Moon is available to listen on Spotify.
