On the occasion of Viduthalai - Part 2 completing a successful 25-day run in theatres, RS Infotainment, the production company that bankrolled the film, has announced that they will be collaborating with director Vetri Maaran again for a project starring Dhanush.
In a statement expressing their gratitude to VetriMaaran, Ilaiyaraaja, Vijay Sethupathi, and Soori for their efforts in Viduthalai and Viduthalai - Part 2, and the audience, critics, distributors, exhibitors, and the film fraternity for making the film a success, the banner shared updates on two new projects, both yet-untitled.
The Vetri Maaran-Dhanush project was referred to by the studio as the former's 9th directorial second project. The second, headlined by Soori, will be directed by Mathimaran Pugazhenthi.
While the rest of the details of these projects aren't revealed yet, it goes without saying the announcement has generated a considerable level of excitement given the quality of works delivered by Vetri Maaran and Soori in the past.
