Thirty hours since the brutal attack on actor Saif Ali Khan, the accused who intruded into the actor's house remains at large. Police have formed 20 teams to track down and nab the intruder.

As per reports, the man was last caught on a CCTV camera installed at the Bandra station bridge. However, he was not seen on any other CCTV at Bandra station after that which prompts the police to believe that he may have boarded a local train towards the Vasai-Nallasopara area, according to News 18.

The police are also collecting technical data, including how many mobile phones were active in the area when the actor was attacked. They have also analysed in detail the CCTV footage of the building which shows the intruder. The accused reportedly carried a wooden stick and a long Hexa blade, fleeing after the attack.

He is seen wearing a brown T-shirt with a collar and a red scarf while scurrying down the stairs on the sixth floor of the building.

Meanwhile, a police team is also questioning the construction workers employed in the building on the suspicion that the person who intruded into the building seemed aware of the premises. The fact that he accused used a staircase and shaft to reach the actor’s house and is suspected of having left from the rear gate have added to the doubts. The workers are reportedly engaged in the maintenance of the terrace.

Meanwhile, Saif is likely to be discharged in a day or two as he is on a 100 per cent path to recovery. Police said it was a narrow, miraculous escape and a 2.5-inch piece of the blade was removed from his spine.
