Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of British band Coldplay, gave a special shout-out to the King of Bollywood, much to the fans' surprise. During their second Mumbai show on January 19, Martin shouted “Shah Rukh Khan, forever!” just before the beat drop in their hit song Yellow, followed by cheers of excitement from the concertgoers.
The gesture sparked massive responses on social media, with many praising Martin for recognising Khan’s importance in the Indian cinema industry.
Now, SRK has responded to the gesture, reciprocating the love received from the singer. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Khan referenced the opening verse of Yellow, followed by praise for the 47-year-old singer.

The mutual admiration between both the greats thrilled fans, where one user wrote, “Shah Rukh Khan quoting Coldplay? Guess I'm officially living in a crossover episode,” while another commented, “Time to collaborate with him for a special song in KING,” referencing Khan’s highly anticipated upcoming film.
This is not the first time that Martin shared his love for the Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actor. Back in 2019, the Up&Up singer wrote the same phrase in a tweet while recommending songs to his followers.
