Unni Mukundan recently starred in the brutal and bloody neo-noir action thriller film Marco. Earning rave reviews for his performance in the Haneef Adeni directorial, the film reached the pan-India audience, with a significant portion of its box office numbers contributed by the Hindi-speaking regions.

Now, switching gears, the actor moves from taking lives to saving them in his upcoming film Get-Set Baby!. Releasing on Friday, February 21, the film will chronicle the life of Arjun Balakrishnan, once the only male student in his gynaecology class, he is now a successful doctor in the female-dominated field. Specialising in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), he is a popular figure in his department, always surrounded by his female colleagues. But Arjun only has eyes for one girl, a chef, who initially dislikes him but gradually warms up to him, leading to a budding love story.
Helmed by Vinay Govind, Get-Set Baby! also stars Nikhila Vimal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shyam Mohan, Surabhi Lakshmi, and Johny Antony. This marks Govind’s fourth directorial, following films like Kili Poyi and Kohinoor – both featuring Asif Ali and Aju Varghese.

The film is bankrolled by Skanda Cinemas and Kingsmen Productions, with Anthony Perumbavoor-led Aashirvad Cinemas handling distribution in Kerala. Music for the film is composed by Sam C.S. who also provided backing vocals to the title track released on Wednesday, with lyrics written by Vinayak Sasikumar, and vocals performed by Naresh Iyer.
Alex J. Pulickal, known for his work on the 2023 film RDX: Robert Dony Xavier, worked on the cinematography of Get-Set Baby!, with the film’s editing done by Arju Benn.
