Bollywood stars Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are expecting their first child! The couple announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post – the pair's palms on top of each others, holding a pair of white baby socks.
Captioning the post, Advani wrote: “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon.” The comment section was filled with excitement, with one netizen posting, “Wow God bless such a good news so happy for you two,” while another wrote, “Excited to see The Adorable Cutest BabySid/BabyKi.”
Celebrities also flooded the comments with congratulatory messages, including Citadel: Honey Bunny actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu who sent her best wishes as well as actress Sonakshi Sinha who commented, “Omg how sweeeeet!!! Congratulations you guys.” Other stars like Jacqueline Fernandez, Kareena Kapoor, and Rakul Singh also shared their well-wishes. The post gained over one million likes in under an hour.
The announcement comes just three weeks after the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary. Advani posted a hilarious “how it’s started, how it’s going” video, reflecting on the iconic moment when she pulled her future husband towards her with an invisible rope while walking down the aisle, then humorously showing her literally pulling Malhotra as part of a workout routine in the present.

The couple tied the knot on February 7, 2023, at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer. The nuptials were attended only by close family and friends like Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, and Isha Ambani. However, Advani and Malhotra did conduct a star-studded reception a few days later that included A-listers like Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, and Ranveer Singh.
While the couple has announced their pregnancy, no further details, such as the expected delivery date, were disclosed.
