RJ Mahvash is adding fuel to the fire in the separation of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal from his wife of four years Dhanashree Verma, Mahvash shared a post on Instagram, which netizens believe is a dig at Verma, who was recently granted an alimony of Rs 4.5 crore from Chahal.

The post features multiple photos of the radio jockey in a white dress paired with a sheer red heart overall, cinched at the waist with a black belt. The caption of the post read: “Jhut, lalach, aur fareb se parey hain..khuda ka shukr ainey aaj bhi khade hain... (Far from lies, greed, and deceit... Thank God, we are still standing today, looking in the mirror)”. The caption was re-edited and now reads: "Painting the town red".
Internet sleuths were quick to notice that one person was particularly quick to like the photo -- her rumoured boyfriend, spin bowler Chahal. "Chahal liked in 10 seconds," one user quipped, while another wrote, "Why the hell she is interfering in between the other two, or was she in between them always!?"
Speculations about the divorce between the couple stemmed in January, when the duo, who tied the knot in December 2020, unfollowed each other from their social media accounts. Rumours of the 34-year-old cricketer's link with Mahvash gained traction last year when she posted a photo of them having lunch together in an Instagram post captioned, "Christmas lunch con familia! (Christmas lunch with family!).
Recently, the 28-year-old RJ was spotted at the Champions Trophy final in Dubai, earlier this month, seated beside Chahal. On Thursday, the cricketer was spotted arriving at the Bandra Family Court for a hearing in his divorce proceedings.
