One more person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Gauri Lankesh. The special investigation team, probing the murder of the journalist-activist, arrested Parshuram Wagmare, reports ANI.
The arrested has been produced before the Third Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACCM) and has been remanded in judicial custody for 14 days.
Gauri Lankesh was murdered on September 5, 2017 at her residence in Bengaluru's Rajarajeshwari Nagar by unknown assailants.
Earlier, forensic science laboratory of Karnataka confirmed that the gun that was used to kill Gauri Lankesh was the same with which rationalist M.M. Kalburgi was shot dead.
The forensic report submitted to the special investigation team is part of the first chargesheet filed recently by the SIT, naming K.T. Naveen Kumar, who was arrested, as an accused in the murder case.
