Manjeshwaram MLA P.B. Abdul Razak passed away on Saturday. He was 63. He was the IUML national executive member.

He was undergoing treatment for heart ailments. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Kasaragod around 5.30 am.
He had twice represented Manjeshwaram constituency. He had been a legislative member since 2011. During the 2016 assembly elections, he had won with a narrow margin of 85 votes. Abdul Razak had received 56,870 votes while rival K. Surendran of BJP got 56,781 votes.
Abdul Razak began his political stint as an IUML activist in 1967. He was the Chengala panchayat president for seven years.
He is survived by wife Saya, children Shafeeq, Saira, Shyla and Shyma.
