Game of Thrones (and Lok Sabha) Spoilers ahead.
If memes had one flavour on the counting day for the Lok Sabha general Elections 2019, it was of Game of Thrones. As the trends become clear for the Lok Sabha election results, the internet was awash in memes based on Game of Thrones — which ended its eight-year-run this week with its series finale.
Users quickly placed PM Narendra Modi on the fictional Iron Throne, and related the opposition to some of the show’s less fortunate characters.
