Troubles continues to mount for suspended Gujarat cadre IAS officer Gaurav Dahiya. The New Delhi-based woman who had leveled allegations of bigamy and cheating against him, has now sought DNA test for her eight-month-old daughter to prove he is the biological father.

The Gujarat government had suspended Dahiya on August 14 after an inquiry committee report. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had instituted an inquiry following allegations against him. Soon after the allegations surfaced, Dahiya was shifted to the General Administration Department from his post as director of the National Rural Health Mission in Gujarat in July.

The woman, on Tuesday, came along with her daughter and met DGP Shivanand Jha at Gandhingar. She also called on Leelaben Ankoliya, chairperson of the Gujarat State Commission for Women. She told Ankoliya that she would want a paternity test to prove that the girl's father is Dahiya. She later told reporters that she has also sought an FIR against Dahiya.

Eye witnesses said that when she tried to enter the secretariat, a woman journalist had to intervene so that she gets an access into the complex. Sources in the know-how of the developments said that the woman had also expressed fears that she could be eliminated. She said that she does not feel safe in New Delhi as Dahiya's parents stay there. She had alleged that Dahiya had married her without divorcing his first wife. However, the first wife is reported to have claimed that he had divorced her.

Amidst this drama, the grapevine is that there is also a third woman in Dahiya's life. The suspended bureaucrat is also believed to have bought the third lady a bungalow in western part of Ahmedabad.

In his defense, Dahiya had alleged that the lady had tried to honeytrap him and blackmail him. He had also alleged that the photographs that she has been showing were morphed.

Dahiya has moved the Gujarat High Court against any police inquiry.
