The campaign for the Maharashtra assembly elections came to an end on Saturday evening. While the BJP-Shive Sena alliance seeks a second straight term under Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Congress-NCP front is keen on wresting power from the saffron alliance.
The state goes to polls on October 21 and the counting will take place on October 24.
