Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on Monday warned Pakistan that the Indian Army would cross the Line of Control if Islamabad doesn’t stop sending infiltrators into Jammu and Kashmir.

Malik made the statement at a function at the Police Training Academy at Zevan in Srinagar.

He said India will destroy terror training camps if Pakistan did not desist from sending infiltrators into |Kashmir.

“We will cross the Line of Control, if Pakistan doesn’t mend its ways,” Malik said. “War is a bad thing, but if Pakistan doesn’t stop terrorism, our response will be stronger than what happened there yesterday.” On Sunday, the Indian Army had launched artillery strikes on launchpads across the LoC in which six to ten Pakistani soldiers were killed. Six militants were also killed in the strikes.

Two Indian Army soldiers and a civilian were killed after Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Tanghdhar sector in Kupwara on Sunday.

Malik said a new dawn will break in Kashmir after it achieves Union territory status on November 1.

He urged the people of Kashmir to partner in building a new Kashmir and take the state forward.

He urged boys not to cause unrest and play a constructive role in building the state.

“I want to ask the boys what they have achieved until now; they must take control of their state and take it forward now,” he said.
