Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra visited the Tihar Jail in Delhi on Wednesday to meet former finance minister P. Chidambaram.
The senior Congress leader was first arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on August 21 in the INX Media corruption case and was granted bail by the Supreme Court on October 22.
He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the money-laundering case associated with the INX Media matter on October 16 and is in judicial custody till November 27 under the order of a trial court.
Despite Chidambaram being in custody for three months, the Congress has remained resolute in its support for the veteran leader.

Two months ago, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, the mother of Rahul and Priyanka, visited Chidambaram at Tihar, accompanied by former prime minister Manmohan Singh. The charges against Chidambaram relate to his tenure as finance minister during the government of Manmohan Singh from 2004-2009.
On Monday, Congress MPs Shashi Tharoor and Manish Tiwari had visited Chidambaram, accompanied by the jailed leader's son, Karti.
