Two suspected cases of novel coronavirus were detected in Hyderabad on Wednesday. On Monday, a tech professional in Hyderabad who had recently travelled to Dubai was confirmed as having coronavirus.
The Times of India reported that of the two suspected patients, one had come into contact with the patient who was confirmed as having coronavirus, while other had travelled to Italy.
"Two samples are being sent to the NIV Pune, for further testing. Report of NIV, Pune, is expected tomorrow. They are being kept in isolation in Gandhi Hospital..." Dr G. Srinivas Rao, director of public health told The Times of India. Media reports claim that at least 45 people—who had come into contact with the techie who was confirmed as having coronavirus—were tested. None of them reported positive for the virus.

One of the two suspected cases is thought to be an employee of multinational DSM. Screenshots of an email from DSM circulating on social media claimed that its offices at building 20 of Raheja Mindspace would be "closed till further notice". Raheja Mindspace is a major IT park in Hyderabad.
According to videos and social media posts, building no 20 of Raheja Mindspace was being evacuated on Wednesday and employees were asked to work from home.
