Congress leader Mukul Wasnik marries his old friend at 60

Mukul Wasnik, Congress general secretary and former Union minister, married Raveena Khurana in the presence of several party leaders, at the age of 60. According to media reports, the private function took place at a five-star hotel on Sunday.

Khurana, an old friend of Wasnik, is the daughter of Vice Admiral Inderjit Singh Khurana (retd), say media reports.

Among those who attended the function include Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and senior party leader Ahmed Patel.

Wasnik is the son of Maharashtra politician Balkrishna.

Wishing Wasnik, a prominent dalit face in the party, Gehlot tweeted: "Wishing Mukul Wasnik Ji and Raveena Khurana Ji heartiest congratulations on embarking on this new journey together as a couple. May the coming years prove to be the happiest time of your life. Stay blessed."

Mukul Wasnik way back in 1984 & Ravina in 1985 when all of us went for the World Festival of Youth & Students to Moscow. So happy for the two of them.
