Healthcare workers, who are at the forefront of the war against coronavirus, is facing an uphill battle even as the number of cases keep increasing. The long hours of duty and the suffocating personal protection equipment (PPE) and masks seem to be taking physical and emotional toll on many of them.
A photo of a doctor’s wrinkled hand, shared by IAS officer Awanish Sharan on Twitter, has gone viral, with many other healthcare professionals sharing similar images and users expressing their gratitude for the selfless service rendered by the healthcare workers.

A doctor reacted the image and thanked him for the acknowledgment.
