NRIs stranded in India will remain a worried lot as Emirates, the flag carrier of Dubai, announced on Wednesday that passenger services from India would remain suspended until August 7.
The UAE suspended all incoming flights from India on April 24 on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. While flights from the UAE to India have resumed, only UAE nationals, diplomats, official delegations and golden visa holders are allowed to travel from India to the gulf nation.
In responses to queries on Twitter on Thursday, the Emirates Support handle informed, "Our flights from India are suspended until 07th Aug and are subject to further review." Passengers were advised to refer to the Emirates website for updates.
