"Some people are supporting the Taliban. What cruelty is being done to women and children there? But some people are shamelessly supporting the Taliban. All these faces should be exposed," the chief minister has been quoted as saying.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been filed against the SP MP under Sections 153-A, 124-A and 295- A of the Indian Penal Code. The sections are related to offensive acts in a place of worship, and promoting enmity between different groups through words, signs/other representation, excite dissatisfaction towards the government, and deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting a religion or religious beliefs.
