Union Minister Smriti Irani recently took to social media to announce the engagement of her daughter Shanelle Irani with Arjun Bhalla.
In a jocular post on Instagram, the Union minister also had a word of caution for Bhalla, saying he is becoming part of a "mad cap family."
Sharing a beautiful picture of Bhalla going down on his knees, the minister said he has a "crazy man" for a father-in-law and herself for "saas".
"To the man who now has our heart @arjun_bhalla welcome to our mad cap family .. ❤️ bless you for you have to deal with a crazy man for a father in law & worse .. me for a Saas … (you have been officially warned) God bless," she wrote.
Shanelle's father Zubin Irani too welcomed Bhalla to the family with a similar warning.
"Son in law to be welcome to our crazy family. You are not just smart and witty you are a brave and patient. We are glad because we know it takes someone special to put up with this clan. Congratulations," he wrote on Instagram, sharing the same photo.
