The national capital region witnessed heavy rains and strong winds on Monday, impacting air travel and causing traffic disruptions.
Bad weather conditions led to eight flights being diverted to Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, say media reports.

Trees were uprooted in several areas in the region, causing damage to properties and vehicles. BJP MP Parvesh Verma's car was damaged after an uprooted tree fell on it at Janpath Road.
Visuals shared by news agency ANI showed a bus trapped under an uprooted tree.
