A minor girl was gang-raped in a car in Hyderabad on May 28. All five accused are minors. An MLA's son was allegedly involved in the incident. The police are investigating the case, which was registered at Jubilee Hills police station on Wednesday, June 1. the complaint was registered by the victim's family.
A case was booked under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against three accused in the incident.
According to the police, the accused are class 11 and 12 students belonging to 'influential families.' the incident took place when the 17-year-old was returning home from a pub. She had befriended one of the boys. He and his friends allegedly promised to drop her home. The boys allegedly parked the car in Jubilee Hills and took turns raping the girl.
