The Opposition parties who met in the wake of the Enforcement Directorate's questioning of Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case have accused the Centre of misusing central investigation agencies.

In a joint statement issued by the Opposition parties, the leaders accused the Modi government of deliberately targeting its political opponents. In the statement, the leaders said, “Prominent leaders of a number of political parties have been deliberately targeted and subjected to harassment in an unprecedented manner.”

The Opposition condemned such moves. They said that they resolve to continue and intensify our collective fight against the anti-people, anti-farmer, anti-Constitution policies of the Centre that is destroying the social fabric of the society.
