The Central Bureau of Investigation has issued lookout notices against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 12 others in the Delhi liquor policy violations probe barring the accused from travelling abroad.

Manish Sisodia has been named the prime accused in the FIR filed by CBI and the accused are charged with corruption, criminal conspiracy and falsification of accounts. The agency conducted raids at the residence and other sites related to him on Friday. The raids were conducted at 31 locations across seven states.

Earlier, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia denied the charges and accused the government of political vendetta.

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi had recommended the CBI probe last month, accusing AAP of bringing the Excise Policy 'with the sole aim' of benefiting private liquor barons for financial benefits to 'individuals at the highest echelons of the government leading up to Manish Sisodia.' The policy was rolled back by Mr Sisodia in July after a probe was started initially by the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing, NDTV reported.
