Yashodhara Phogat, daughter of deceased BJP leader Sonali Phogat, on Tuesday, demanded a CBP probe into her mother's death.

According to news agency ANI, Yashodhara said she is not satisfied with the probe that is underway.

"It is about justice for my mother, we won't stand back. CM (of Haryana) said that it will happen but no action taken as of yet," she has been quoted as saying.

Phogat (43), a former Tik Tok star from Hisar in Haryana and a contestant on the reality TV show 'Big Boss', was brought dead to a hospital in North Goa on August 23, a day after arriving in the coastal state with two of her male companions.

The Goa Police have so far arrested five persons, including two of Phogat's associates, in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said his government submitted a "confidential report" on the investigation to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and director general of police.

A team of Goa Police was to leave for Haryana on Tuesday to record statements as part of the investigation, Sawant told reporters.

On Monday, the Haryana government wrote to the Goa government, requesting it to recommend a CBI probe into the death.

"Sonali Phogat's family had given a letter to the chief minister demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter. The family has levelled serious allegations that big names can also be involved in this murder. On the basis of the letter of the family, the state government wrote to the chief minister of Goa to get the matter probed by the CBI.. so that all the facts in the case come out," Haryana's Home Minister Anil Vij was quoted as saying on Monday.
