The Mumbai Police on Thursday arrested two men who harassed a South Korean woman in Mumbai while she was live-streaming on Wednesday night. In the video that soon went viral, one of the accused is seen dragging her by her hand and trying to kiss her. She can be heard saying 'no, no', as she walks away.

Later, he appears again with another man on a bike and offers her a lift. The video shows the woman trying to walk away; she even says she lives close by. The video was shared by a Twitter user who tagged the Mumbai Police, and urged them to take action. Retweeting the video, the woman said she tried her best not to escalate the situation.

She wrote: “Last night on stream, there was a guy who harassed me. I tried my best not to escalate the situation and leave because he was with his friend. And some people said that it was initiated by me being too friendly and engaging the conversation. Makes me think again about streaming.”

The Khar police registered a suo motu case based on the video. The accused were identified as Mobeen Chand Mohd Shaikh and Mohd Naqib Sadarialam Ansari, ANI tweeted.

"Mumbai Police's Khar Police station has taken a Suo Moto action in an incident that happened with a Korean woman (foreigner) in the jurisdiction of Khar West. In this regard, both the accused have been arrested and booked under relevant sections of the IPC," Mumbai Police said in a tweet.

Speaking to NDTV, the Korean YouTuber said she was happy with the Mumbai Police's quick response. She added that she will continue her trip through India.
