Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reply to the Motion of Thanks to the President's Address at 2 pm in Rajya Sabha on Thursday during the ongoing Budget Session of the Parliament.
"Reply by the Prime Minister will be at 2 pm tomorrow," said Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. The debate on the motion of thanks to the President's Address in Rajya Sabha concluded on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Modi replied to the motion of thanks in the Lok Sabha, while launching a scathing attack on the opposition with regard to accusation against him in the Adani issue.
"My trust among people has been built over the years in public life, and not through newspaper headlines or TV publicity,” he said while replying to the motion of thanks on the President’s Address in Lok Sabha.
Modi added that President Droupadi Murmu's inspired the 'Nari Shakti' (women power) of India and gave a boost to the self-confidence of India's tribal communities while instilling a feeling of pride among them. She gave a detailed blueprint of 'Sankalp se Siddhi' of the nation", the Prime Minister said.
Kharge's scarf
The highlight of Wednesday's Parliament session, however, was Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's Louis Vuitton scarf. Kharge unleashed an attack on the government on Wednesday, while seeking a joint parliamentary committee probe into the Adani scam.
However, it was his scarf that dominated the headlines. BJP's Piyush Goyal raked it up, stating that a JPC probe can't take place in individual cases. "Kharge ji is wearing a Louis Vuitton scarf today. Should we set up a joint committee to look into this as well? Where did he get the scarf, who gave it to him and how much did it cost?" Goyal said.

Soon, there were comparisions to Modi's jacket, which he wore to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla alleged that when PM Modi sends a green message of sustainable growth and environment, Kharge wore an expensive Louis Vuitton scarf worth ₹56,332.
"Taste apna apna, message apna apna...not making any judgment," the BJP leader tweeted.
The jacket was presented to the Prime Minister by the Indian Oil Corporation during the inauguration of the India Energy Week in Bengaluru when he was unveiling the 'unbottled' initiative.
