Congress leader and former chief minister Digvijaya Singh has warned of a court case against Madhya Pradesh BJP in-charge P. Muralidhar Rao, for calling him (Singh) ‘friend of Pakistan and extremists’.
In a series of tweets, Singh quoted a media report where the statement of Rao to this effect was published. “You will have to answer the allegations you have leveled against me in the court,” the Congress leader said.
According to the local media report, Rao while addressing an event organised at the CM House in Bhopal comprising of party’s young workers, had made several comments and allegations on Digvijaya Singh, saying that Singh speaks only on Twitter and this Twitter king has been the chief minister of pot-holed roads in the state.
Rao also reportedly said that now he (Singh) has become a friend of Pakistan and extremists and considers BJP a bigger enemy than Pakistan.
Retorting through the tweets, Singh hurled several questions at Rao on the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh going allegedly soft on a BJP worker and a Bajrang Dal activist among others held by MP ATS in an ISI spying racket in 2017.
“Murlidhar ji Do you know Dhruv Saxena, President of Bhopal BJP IT cell? Do you know Balram Singh, President of Satna Bajrang Dal? If you do not know then read this news (a news link on ISI the spying racket arrests attached). Do you also know Balram Singh's friend Rajeev Tiwari? All of them and their 14 more associates were caught by the ATS of MP Police while spying for Pakistan's ISI,” Singh tweeted.
In further tweets, he said “But why didn't your mama ji (reference to chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan) file a sedition case against him? How were all those traitors allowed to get bail? Will you ask Mama ji? Do you have courage? Today all those traitors are out on bail and serving you as active workers of BJP with black money earned from Pakistan. Now you tell who is the traitor? them and you or me?”
Sharing another tweet with a video on involvement of Dhruv Saxena in the spying racket, Singh said “Murlidhar Rao ji, After watching this video, please ask the people sitting with you who is Dhruv Saxena? Why didn't Mama impose NSA on him? Why wasn’t the bulldozer used on his house?
In 2017, Madhya Pradesh ATS had exposed an illegal telephone exchange and arrested 11 persons including Dhruv Saxena, who was reportedly office bearer of the BJP IT Cell. These arrests had come after two ISI agents held in Jammu in 2016 had made several revelations including the fact that they were getting funds from one Balram Singh of Satna in Madhya Pradesh. After the arrest of Balram, said to be a Bajrang Dal office bearer, ten more including Saxena were arrested from Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior. The case is however in the cold now.
