Taking a dig at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for threatening to sue the CBI and ED officials for alleged perjury and filing false affidavits in courts, Union minister Kiren Rijiju asked if the Delhi CM forgot to mention he will file a case against the court as well if it convicts him.

Taking to Twitter, the Union minister posted the screenshot of a tweet by the Delhi CM which read, "We will file appropriate cases against CBI and ED officials for perjury and producing false evidence in courts," and said, "We must believe in rule of law."

"Forgot to mention that you will file case against Honble court also if it convicts you. Let law takes it own course & we must believe in rule of law," Rijiju wrote.

In another tweet, the Union minister said, “Sorry Anna ji (Anna Hazare) You didn't know that you were handing over such a huge burden to the country.”

The CBI summoned the Delhi CM in connection with the Delhi excise policy scam. He has been asked to appear before the agency for questioning on Sunday. The probe agency has already arrested former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the case.

The Delhi CM alleged that the agencies were torturing people to extract false confessions.
