Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Monday for “routine health check up”. According to a medical bulletin issued in the evening, he will be discharged on Tuesday.
“The Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru M.K. Stalin has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, Chennai today for routine Health Check-up. He will be discharged from hospital tomorrow,” said the statement.
Reports said the chief minister will undergo an endoscopy on Monday night.
Earlier in the day, Stalin had spoken to NCP supremo Sharad Pawar and expressed his solidarity with the veteran leader whose party has suffered a vertical split following a surprise revolt led by his nephew Ajit Pawar.
