Former employee hacks to death CEO, MD of Bengaluru-based company

The chief executive officer (CEO) and the managing director (MD) of a company in Bengaluru were murdered by a former employee on Tuesday.

The accused, who has been identified as Felix, entered the office and attacked Phanindra Subramanya and Vinu Kumar, MD and CEO of Aironics Media Private Limited, with a sword.

Both of them died on their way to the hospital.

"The chief executive officer (CEO) Vinu Kumar and MD Phanindra Subramanya of Aeronics Internet Company were killed by a former employee. The accused barged into their office and attacked them with a sword. Both died on the way to the hospital. The attacker, Felix, is on the run. Further investigation underway," Lakshmi Prasad, DCP North-East Bengaluru, said.

The accused is on the run.
