In 2015, North Korea's ‘defence minister-turned-traitor', Hyon Yong-chol, faced the wrath of an anti-aircraft gun for committing the gravest of sins: falling asleep during his Supreme Leader’s, oh-so-important speech. For y’all bourgeoisie and class traitors, that may sound like an absurd waste of bullets. But hold on a second! You see, in the lands of Communisms (of course, there are different versions of that 'ism'), it's a whole different ballgame. When a Supreme Leader speaks, it's like every word is pure gold and must be absorbed with utmost reverence. It's not like your fancy leaders who blabber endlessly about nonsense; no, no, each word from a Communist supremo's mouth is a 'divine' decree!
So naturally, if some traitor dares to disrespect the holy speech by howling or snoozing, they must face the consequences! However, the punishments from Communists are tailored to fit the terrain. In high-potent Communist realms, an anti-aircraft gun or a sudden disappearance might be the weapon of choice for such drowsy offenders. For instance, the foreign minister of Communist China is currently missing, and the Chinese Supreme Leader simply replaced him without any qualms. Until now, it is not clear whether the former foreign minister was punished for yawning, blinking, snoozing, or howling. But he had done something to trigger the Sup Leader, for sure!
Meanwhile, in the realms of the watered-down version of Communism, a criminal case charged under the sections of "grave violation of public order" would do just fine. You see, even in delivering punishments, Communism has different versions!
Speaking of punishment, let's talk about this stupid Thiruvananthapuram-based mic operator who recently did something similar to what Hyon Yong Chol did. His mic caused howling and interference while Kerala’s Communist Supreme Leader was speaking at a public event conducted by his principal opposition. But he got saved from the anti-aircraft extravaganza! However, the ‘traitor’ mic operator did deserve something bigger! His reactions to bourgeoisie media proved it: he claimed it's "common" for mics to have interference.
The Kerala Police serving the Supreme Leader of Kerala did take action, but later decided to go easy on the operator. They registered an FIR—without naming anybody—under Section 118 [E] of the Kerala Police Act for causing a “grave violation of public order or danger”, and seized the mic operator's machinery, but later gave "clean chit" to him. Oh, they had a whole range of sections at their disposal, including those under the UAPA Act to deal with the treason. But guess what! Kerala's Supreme Leader has his own ‘ism’ for everything; he knows clearly when and where to employ brute force, and whether it needs to be delivered by an Innova or a Police Jeep.
The mic operator explained that there was interference for only less than 10 seconds during the Kerala Communist Supremo’s speech. Blasphemy! That guy does not have an idea how much wisdom and enlightenment can be packed into just 10 seconds by a Communist Supremo, whether it is from Kerala, China or Korea. In 2018, during one of those precious speeches, it took less than 10 seconds for the Kerala Supremo to hail his North Korean comrade for the latter’s "tough anti-America stance". What would have happened if the mic malfunctioned in those exact moments? Yes, punishments can be delivered afterwards to the traitor, but will that bring back those great moments of wisdom?
Coming back to the topic of delivering punishments, the Comrade Supremo of Kerala is more daring and creative than the Comrade Supremo of Korea or even China, imho. Because he has done something unthinkable even for the Comrade Supremo of North Korea. Comrade Supremo of Kerala recently went to the Bourgeoise America, made a public speech at Times Square and earned adulation by showing his tough anti-America stance! Now, that's a whole new level of punishment style that Kims and Xis can copy!
