Amid the recent unrest in Nuh, Haryana, Home Minister Anil Vij said that they will not rush to any early conclusion without a thorough investigation. While addressing the media on Friday, Vij said that “there was a big game plan behind this.” Meanwhile bulldozer action continued for the third day in the violence-hit Nuh.

Around two dozen medical stores and other shops were razed the ground on the third day of razing "illegal" constructions in Nuh. Amid tight security, bulldozers rolled in at Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, Nalhar. Many shops including pharmacies were also razed.

Vij on Friday said that a total of 202 people were arrested so far in connection with the communal clashes in Nuh. “Eighty were taken into preventive detention in connection with the communal clashes in Nuh,” he said.

"There is a big game plan...People climbed hills next to the temples, had lathis in their hands and gathered at entry points, all this is not possible without a proper plan. Bullets were fired, some people had arranged weapons as well. All this is part of a plan. We will not rush to an early conclusion without a thorough investigation being done,” said Vij.

He also added that the internet services will be restored after the situation improves in the area.

Regarding the bulldozer crackdown on properties of culprits, the home minister said that it will be used wherever required. “Demolitions are part of the action,” he added.

According to officials, over 45 commercial shops built illegally were demolished. Earlier also, authorities have used bulldozers to raze structures of alleged criminals in Nuh and other parts in Haryana.

“We are getting information that firing incidents were pre-planned...we are collecting more information and taking action against the people responsible,” he added.

Meanwhile, Nuh SP Narendra Singh Bijarnia said that the investigation so far has suggested involvement of disparate elements, which are being identified and arrested.

Earlier this year a crackdown was launched against cyber criminals and several people were arrested for defrauding people across the nation.

"In April a house-to-house search was conducted with 5,000 police personnel. Many laptops, several thousand SIM cards and ATM cards were found there, on which action was also taken...Now the cyber station that has been attacked, and the way attempts have been made to tamper with the files, has made us launch an investigation into whether cyber thugs attacked the computer systems also of the police station," said Vij.

In the recent clashes that broke out in Nuh, six people, including two home guards and a cleric, died. The incident occurred on Monday when a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession was attacked by mobs in Muslim-dominated Nuh.
