The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has seized Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun's house in Chandigarh and agricultural land in Amritsar under section 33(5) of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), 1967.

The latest crackdown comes after a video showed Pannun openly asking Hindus in Canada to go back to India. Canada's top officials and politicians have condemned the "online hate video", asserting that Hindus are safe and welcome.
