The winter session of Parliament will commence on December 4 and the session will likely see the tabling of ethics committee report against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and key bills.
The session will begin on December 4 and conclude on December 22. Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi has called an all-party meeting on December 2. The session will have 15 sittings spread over 19 days, Joshi said earlier.
The ethics committee report against TMC MP Mahua Moitra in the cash-for-query scam is likely to be tabled in this session. The committee has reportedly suggested explusion of the MP from the house. The session is also likely to take up for consideration bills to replace the IPC, CrPC and the Evidence Act. Bill regarding the appointment of chief election commissioner and election commissioners might also be taken this session.
