Devaraje Gowda, father of Manoranjan, one of the accused in the Parliament security breach case on Thursday urged the media personnel outside his residence to "leave the family alone".

Gowda, who is a farmer in Mysuru told reporters that he had answered all the queries made by the Delhi police and did not want to speak to anybody. "Allow us to live peacefully. We are mentally very disturbed," he pleaded before riding away on his scooter.

The special cell of the Delhi police probing the Parliament security breach case had visited the residence of Manoranjan in Vijayanagar II stage in Mysuru on Monday and interrogated his parents for nearly seven hours and collected vital information about him.

According to sources, the investigation team learnt that Sagar Sharma, one of the accused, had visited Mysuru to meet Manoranjan last May and the duo might have plotted the Parliament attack during the meeting.

Manoranjan, who had chosen to do computer science engineering, had remained secluded after the course. He used read a lot of books and had refused to get married and take up a job. He used to confine himself to his room when at home and used to visit Bengaluru, Delhi and other places. In fact, Manoranjan had deactivated all his social media accounts a few months back.

Earlier this year, he had introduced Sharma as his engineering classmate to his parents. Sharma had had lunch twice at Manoranjan's house too. The cops are now trying to track down the places Sharma had visited and people whom he could have possibly met during his visits.
