Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Kerala on Tuesday for a two-day visit. Modi will be conducting a roadshow at Kochi on Tuesday and will be offering prayers at Guruvayur Krishna temple on Wednesday. The prime minister will be inaugurating projects in Andhra Pradesh before heading to Kerala.
PM Modi tweeted, “Over the next two days I will be among the people of Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Today, 16th January, I will have the opportunity to pray at the Veerbhadra Temple, Lepakshi. Thereafter, I will inaugurate the new campus of the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics. On the 17th, I will pray at the Guruvayur Temple, Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple and address a public meeting in Kochi where key projects will be inaugurated.”
The prime minister is expected to reach Kochi on Tuesday evening. He will be conducting a roadshow from Maharaja’s College ground to Guest House at 5pm. On Wednesday, Modi will attend actor-politician Suresh Gopi’s wedding at Guruvyoor and offer prayers at the temple. Prime Minister will perform pooja and darshan at Guruvayur Temple at 7.30am on Wednesday and offer prayers at Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple at around 10.30am. Returning to Kochi from Guruvayoor, Modi will be inaugurating infrastructure projects worth over Rs 4,000 crore, related to the ports, shipping, and waterways sector.
Modi will be inaugurating the New Dry Dock at Cochin Shipyard Limited, the International Ship Repair Facility (ISRF) of CSL; and LPG Import Terminal of Indian Oil Corporation Limited at Puthuvypeen, Kochi.
In Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi will inaugurate National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) at Palasamudram, Sri Sathya Sai District, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
